We get our rescue dogs from the shelters in YOUR community.  We left a lot behind.
We are very grateful to Hacienda Heights Animal Hospital

Adoption Info:

This is Daphne, a ten WEEK old chiweenie puppy, female.   She should be ready for a new home after Thanksgiving.  She currently weighs about five pounds but obviously will get bigger.
This is Oro, a five MONTH old cockery type dog.  He looks a bit like a tiny golden retriever.   Cute little guy.  He currently weighs about 20 pounds and should get a bit bigger.

Adoption Pending -Calypso is a darling tiny cute little Chi weighing about 4 pounds. Calypso loves other dogs and is good with people.  She is probably under 2 years old.  Calypso is a nice little dog that was rescued off of the street thanks to a good Samaritan.  Please give her a forever home!

Adoption Pending -This is Ginger, a one year old chihuahua weighing about five pounds.  She is quiet and affectionate and a little bit shy.

To the right is Ginger's Halloween photo taken with Mikey at Petco in Long Beach.

Adoption Pending -This is Van Gogh (we had a name change, formerly Sunny), a four year old male Westie.

Van Gogh is a darling male West Highland Terrier/Schnauzer mix.  He is quiet and loving.  He is good with other dogs especially if they are bigger than him.  He is playful and fun.  Unfortunately he was probably tied up and ignored in his previous home.  He has rope burns on his neck and his ears are missing the tips.   The deplorable conditions he was kept in have not jaded his trust in mankind.  He's a nice, nice dog that deserves a second chance.

Adoption Pending -Mikey is a 4 pound Maltese with a darling sweet personality. He gets along well with people and other dogs.

Mikey's paperwork says he is 7.  His vet appt is Oct. 19 and we will know more then, but I suspect our vet will say he is a little older.   He has at least one tooth and eagerly eats canned food with a good appetite.   He grooms very well and is quiet and gentle.

This is Ellie, a mystery mix - possibly King Charles Spaniel and Italian Greyhound?  She is around eight pounds and one year old.  Ellie has a very sweet, mild disposition.  She is good with other dogs, and gentle (but a bit frightened) with people. Due to a pre-existing injury, we had to remove one of her rear legs.  However, it does not slow her down at all.  She actually feels a lot better without the pain the leg caused, and gets around just fine, including up and down stairs and on and off the couch.  She is currently rehabbing in a foster home, but would love a chance at a permanent placement.

Adoption Pending -This is Flip, a one year old male Pomeranian mix.   At least that is our best guess.  His paperwork says he is a long haired Chihuahua but we don't think so.    Flip is a nice, friendly dog who can climb tall buildings like spider man.   So he needs a home where he will be either indoors or on a leash.   No patio balconies either or he will jump over them.    He would be the perfect condo dog.
This is Joshua, a 7 year old terrier mix weighing about 15 pounds.

Joshua is a Jack Russell mix.  He loves long walks and is wonderfully loyal and loves to play.  He would probably do best in a one dog home.

He is leery of other dogs as he survived an attack.  He is healthy and ready for a forever home.

This is Costello, a two year old male poodle mix.   He is wearing a cute little elementary school math award tag.  Too bad it didn't include a name, address, or phone number.

He looks pretty messy here.  He should look good in a few weeks.

This is Cottonwood, a five month old male puppy.    He has had a few bad months and is pretty scabby due to what appears to be some sort of a chemical burn.

We are having this treated and he should be ready for a home soon.

This is Delta, a one year old Chihuahua mix weighing about six pounds.  She is a quiet, shy little dog who will require a little time before she trusts someone.

Tyler is a male  mini poodle.  His paperwork says he is a senior but we are thinking that he is 5 to 8 years old.  He is very active.  This is a dog that has probably spent his entire life living in a backyard uncared for.  The nicest thing his previous owner ever did for him was dump him at the shelter.  He is very loyal and loving in his foster home.  Tyler would do well with a young senior or a quiet household.
