Male, three years old.  This tiny fellow is a purebred Yorkie will flowing long tan and black fur.  He is very friendly and loves to rush up to the front of his cage to make new friends.

ALREADY NEUTERED

Shepherds are great if you want a loyal companion and guard dog with a big bark. At 5 ½ years, hefs a great age – out of the puppy stage, but still full of life and energy. His coat is a gorgeous brown and tan and in great condition. One of the better looking Shepherds to come through the shelter. Hefs 65 lbs., so expect a big one who needs space and regular exercise.

This guy seemed very subdued – maybe even a little sad and lonely, but hefs probably just eager to be sprung so he can go for a run. At 2 years old, hefs got a lot of life and energy in him, which would make him a good addition to an active household. Hefs described as a lab retriever mix, but with the brindle coat, he could have some pit bull in him too. Hefs 71 lbs., so expect a big one!

What a gorgeous pit bull, with his hazel eyes and jet-black coat (plus a little white on the chest area). He was super-friendly -- one of the happiest dogs ever, greeting visitors like long lost friends! Hefs 2 years old and about 53 lbs., so hefs a nice mid-size dog thatfs not too overwhelming.

This 1-year-old boxer is a real cutie, with a shiny brown coat and white chest. Plus, hefs got the classic boxer gsmileh with his bottom teeth showing. These dogs love people and are great with kids, and this guy seemed calm and friendly despite all the ruckus around him. Hefs 55 lbs. and could get a little bigger but not too much.

With a gorgeous white and light-grey coat and brown eyes, this one will go quick! True to his breed, he seems to have a friendly and easy-going disposition and was very calm and mellow, just taking a nap in the afternoon sun. He was listed at 70 lbs. but he doesnft seem that big at all. Hefs definitely lean and muscular so you wonft feel overwhelmed by his size.

This medium size dog is about 50 lbs., with a very light tan coat with flecks of white. At 10 years, hefs very calm and mellow and hefd be the perfect companion for a senior. Both breeds represented here are independent and reserved, but also very loving.

His coat is more black and less tan, and hefs got big alert ears and brown eyes. Hefs 2 years old, so hefll be full of energy and ready to be your companion for a long while. Hefs a big one at 72 lbs., but still calm, mellow and sweet. Shepherds are fiercely loyal and great guard dogs.

This is a hunting dog with a gorgeous long, russet-colored coat and a little white tuft on the neck. Hefs only a year and half, so just out of puppy stage, but he seemed pretty sweet and fun to be around. At 54 lbs., hefs a great mid-size and perfect for a family with kids. Retrievers are outgoing, energetic and loving and get along well with people and other dogs.

How can you not love a dog that cuddles up to his cell mate like this? Hefs listed at 4 months, so hefs a real young one – and tiny! Only 5 lbs., hefs very playful and full of energy and enthusiasm; when not napping on his neighbor he was wrestling with the other dogs.

His coat is a gorgeous russet color with dark brown flecks. Muscular and lean at 44 lbs., he looks like a puppy and will likely get much bigger (no age was listed). He even seemed a little reserved and shy – he didnft really like having his picture taken – but hefs got a sweet disposition and was much more mellow than his aggressive cell mate. Ridgebacks can be great, affectionate pets but need proper training.

Hefs cute and small at 8 lbs. – the perfect size for an apartment dog. He has a tricolor coat, but hefs mostly black with a white strip on his head and neck area. At 4 years old, hefs sweet and affectionate and a great portable companion. Loyal and loving, this breed thrives with time and attention from its owners so not for someone looking for an independent dog.

This one wonft last long, with his white and tan coat, long ears and a speckled nose. Just out of puppy stage at 1 ½ years, hefs still energetic and very outgoing, always at the cage bars looking for friends. The beagle breed is good natured and enjoys people -- perfect for a household with kids.

Resembling a foxhound, this hunting dog is a lean and muscular 55 lbs. with a white coat with brown and black spots. At 4 years old, hefs got a lot of energy and seems outgoing and fun; he also needs regular exercise so hefs perfect for an active household. Good with kids, too. Just a warning though: Hefs got an unusual hoarse bark that sounds a little like a duck!

What an interesting looking dog – you can see the pit bull in the coat and build, but the face is pure lab! His coat is brindle with a big white patch on the chest and hefs got adorable white paws. At nearly 7 months old, hefs sweet and friendly, wagging his tail and coming up to the bars. He seemed calm and mellow with all the barking going on around him, but still playful and energetic for the puppy that he is. At 56 lbs. now, he could get bigger, but all the better for a guard dog. Would be great for an active household.
