SMALL SHEPHERD MIX One of the best all around dogs here. She got along very well with her cage mate - both were so happy to have a visitor. I was petting one with my right hand and the other with my left at the same time. Nice size at only 35 lbs. and only 11 months old. Very gentle and super friendly. She's a perfect little companion. Available: NOW Impound #: A0953875	SEEING DOUBLE - ROTTWEILERS X 2 These 2 girls came in together and hopefully will leave together but can be adopted separately, of course. They act like twins - stay together, move together and both are very friendly. One is slightly larger than the other by 5 or 10 lbs. Available: NOW Impound #'s: A0951386 and A0951388	GERMAN SHEPHERD MIX Gentle, very pretty and really got along with her cage mate. She reached her whole paw out of the cage to make contact with me. She's aprox. 3 yrs. old and 55 lbs. She's been here WAY too long - since mid May. Available: NOW Impound #: A0946664
AKITA Here's a big, soft, cuddly bear. She does have a very soft, healthy coat. Akitas are known for their loyalty. They are alert, responsive dogs. She's 2 years old and ready to roll! Obviously, you can see how beautiful she is by the photo but she is equally affectionate. She wanted to hold hands for as long as I would stay with her which made it so hard to leave her there. She's beautiful, intelligent and a what a great kisser! So affectionate, so friendly with a very soft brindle coat. Plus, she's only a year old! See what I mean. WHITE BEAGLE X - SLENDER & DARLING! Female, just two years old. She is built like a Beagle with long floppy ears and those beautiful deep rich brown Beagle eyes, yet her coat is solid creamy white. She is also more slender than a Beagle (Beagle height yet only about 16 pounds) although I cannot tell what she is mixed with. She is adorable! She is a bundle of playful friendliness. Be ready for a fun dog who will love spending time with you! Impound no. A0961622 Available 7-10-2008	German Shepherd Mix- calm and beautiful Female dog, 3 and 1/2 months old, tan German Shepard mix with golden eyes. This dog is very calm. She seemed to have the attitude of “I don’t care” but then, as soon as I would leave the cage, she would whine, whimper and jump on the bars to make me come back. I am guessing that she is a German Shepard with a little mix of pit bull, but I am not too certain. She may grow quite large, because of her German Shepard roots, so she may not be suitable for young children, but that should not deter you! This dog is very sweet and loving. She happens to be listed as a fear biter, but if approached slow and calmly, her trust can be gained quite easily! She is still young, so it is possible for her to be trained. And, she has most of her vaccinations already! IMPOUND NO. A0956303 AVAILABLE NOW!	Black Terrier-very sweet and still a puppy! Female dog, four-months-old, black terrier with beautiful big brown eyes. She looks like she will grow to be about 1 or 1 1/2 feet tall, or medium sized. Out of the six dogs in the cage, she was always the first to the bars of the cage to greet a spectator! She seems as though she would be a very affectionate dog, and because she is so young, she is still malleable to training. She is very loyal, because once she got used to my scent and my presence, she didn’t want me to leave. She was very calm. While the other dogs were fighting for my attention, she remained cool, calm, and collected. I recommend a good and stable home for this adorable puppy without young children, as she may grow quite large! She doesn’t seem to be too energetic, but she may be just shy. IMPOUND NO. Absolutely Perfect Puppy Female border collie/lab retriever mix Mostly black, a little white on the belly and chest. 2.5 months will get big, currently 10 lbs Sweetest little puppy. Flirty Fox Female Chihuahua, 2 years old White and tan, 5.6 lbs Huge intelligent eyes, loves to be petted and sits at the cageʼs edge looking for love. Flirts by posing with one leg up, and ears cocked. Loves other dogs and cuddles with them. Looks like a little white fox. It says on the sign itʼs a Chihuahua, but it looks like an Italian greyhound/Chihuahua mix. Impound no. A0964201 Available 7/16/2008	GORGEOUS & GENTLE AUSTRALIAN SHEPHERD X Female, four years old. WOW what a beautiful dog! She is medium size, about 35 pounds, a mix of Aussie and Chow, with a lush coat of black, red and cream colors all mixed together with the sweetest dark eyes. She is very friendly yet always gentle, calm, and very polite. This sweetheart is perfect for most any home, very easy-going, she walks very nicely on a leash, and does not seem to have any need for lots of exercise. VERY SWEET CHIHUAHUA - "MUNCHKIN" Female, two years old. I NEVER called any animal a "Munchkin" before but golly it sure fits this….this….well, Munchkin. She is tiny and has the cutest very short, wirey fur, white with reddish patches, and huge ears that go SIDEWAYS! Only about eight pounds, and every ounce is darling. She is friendly and very polite, waiting her turn for attention. In her first photo, she looks as if she does not have eyes, but she was just blinking outside in the hot mid-day sun. Her eyes are fine, as you can see in the second photo! This is a truly wonderful dog, gentle, unassuming, easy-going and social. Impound no. A0958695 Available NOW	CAIRN TERRIER - PUREBRED SWEETHEART F CAIRN TERRIER - PUREBRED SWEETHEART Female, eight years old. This purebred Cairn Terrier is too precious for words. Long soft fur of all sorts of grays and creams. What a sweet face, and what a sweet, gentle personality. She is friendly and has the most gentle, kind personality. The shelter says they examined her and she appears to be in good health. The ideal dog for a calm, quiet lifestyle. Impound no. A0959501 Available NOW	LITTLE BORDER COLLIE - (BIZARRE PHOTO), GREAT DOG! Female, just one year old. I have no idea what special optical effect got into this photo, but this dog is truly GORGEOUS! She is blue merle but in a unique pattern I have not seen -- rich black and bright white in strands of colors rather than little patches. Exceptionally friendly and fun-loving. She stays at the front of her cage playing with the other dogs in her cage and happily meeting everyone. Be ready for a high energy, SMART dog who will want to go places and do things with you! She is a mix but mostly border collie, a bit smaller than most border collies, about 26 pounds. Please do not let the bizarre photo stop you from meeting this truly fabulous little girl! Impound no.
